Trip to the mill

Been quite a while since my last posting! I've been quite busy with a new job and such, and haven't had much time for photography. But lately I've somewhat re-kindled my interest in the subject, as a means to escape the daily grind I suppose. Here's a set from a recent trip to Newlin Grist Mill, a fascinating place not far from home.

Did I mention my finace is a goofball? This is really I shot I took just because I like the way the afternoon light fell on the trail.

Nikon D70 w/28-90mm, 1/125 @ F11, ISO 400. I used multiple curves adjustments in Photoshop to bring out the texture in the path and darken the corners a bit.

Sunset in Green Lane

Took this shot on my way home from seeing Kathleen Connelly's photos in upper Bucks County. If anyone hasn't seen them yet, I highly recommend it! Check out her site too. www.durhamtownship.com.

Evening Light

I caught this one after a storm had blown through and the light got just magnificent. Now if only I didn't live in a development!

Exposure data: 1/200 @ F7.1, ISO 200. Nikon D70 w/ Nikkor 18-70 DX lens @ 18mm.

Covered Bridge

These two are actually the same shot, just processed differently. The top one has some Gaussian blur overlayed, the bottom does not.
I can't really decide which one I like better, so I posted them both!

Exposure: 1/4 @ F11, ISO 200. D70 w/ 18-70 DX lens.
